Tremblant ski resort overview:

Mont Tremblant, in Quebec's Laurentian Mountains about 90 minutes northwest of Montreal, is one of eastern North America's best-known ski destinations. At 875 metres (2,871 feet), its summit is the highest in the Laurentians, and the resort offers a vertical drop of around 645 metres across four distinct sides of the mountain.

The terrain suits a wide range of abilities. Beginners and intermediates will find plenty of groomed cruising, while experts can head for the steeper glades and bump runs on the north side. Snowmaking is extensive, which helps keep the long season reliable even though the region can be bitterly cold in midwinter.

The pedestrian village at the base is a major part of the appeal. Its colourful, European-style buildings are packed with restaurants, boutiques, bars and cafés, and a gondola links the village directly to the slopes. In the evenings, visitors can enjoy après-ski, outdoor fire pits and, often, live entertainment.

Beyond skiing, Tremblant offers snowshoeing, dogsledding, ice skating, spa visits and a lively festive atmosphere. Its French-Canadian character adds charm, with Québécois cuisine and bilingual service throughout.

Tremblant attracts families, couples and groups looking for a polished, walkable resort that combines solid skiing with a memorable village experience, all within easy reach of a major city. Tremblant piste map
